Why did Lambert choose vegan leather?
Animal leather requires the use of animal hides in its production.
At Lambert, we have chosen a different approach.
Our products are made from carefully selected vegan materials, including—depending on the collection—pre-consumer recycled PU, recycled nylon, and recycled polyester.
By prioritizing these materials, we offer bags that are durable, easy to care for, and suited to everyday use, while progressively reducing our consumption of virgin resources through the integration of recycled materials.
What materials are Lambert bags made of?
Pre-consumer recycled PU
Pre-consumer recycled PU is made from offcuts and surplus material generated during the manufacturing process. Instead of being discarded, these materials are recovered and reintegrated into the production of new material.
Use: Exterior of various Lambert bags, wallets, and accessories
Care: Clean with a soft, damp cloth.
Recycled nylon
Our recycled nylon is made from recycled materials, helping to reduce the consumption of new resources.
Use: Travel bags, utility bags, accessories
Care: Clean with a damp cloth.
Recycled polyester
Recycled polyester is primarily used for the inner lining of our bags. It is also incorporated into the composition of several of our exterior materials.

Beyond certification
Achieving PETA-Approved Vegan certification is a significant milestone, but our commitment doesn't stop there. We are continuing our efforts to increase the proportion of recycled materials used in our collections.
Today, nearly 90% of our products are made from recycled materials, and we aim to reach 100% by 2027. Each new collection is developed with the goal of further reducing our environmental footprint, without compromising on design, quality, or functionality.
